HubRunner launches annual Austin nonprofit website giveaway contest
Today, HubRunner is showing a little love for our hometown with our Annual Austin Nonprofit Website Giveaway contest to donate a brand new, custom website to one lucky Austin nonprofit, free of charge. Beginning today, Tuesday, 9/3/2013, supporters of Austin nonprofits can nominate their favorite organization to win a free new website by visiting the HubRunner Facebook page.
About HubRunner’s Austin nonprofit website giveaway contest
How it works: To participate, just visit our Facebook page to nominate the nonprofit of your choice that’s in need of a new website or a site redesign. To qualify for the contest, the nonprofit has to be located in Austin, Texas, and registered as a nonprofit or charity. Organizations that receive the most nominations will move to the finalist round, where there will be a “vote off” to determine the winning nonprofit.
What they win: The winning Austin nonprofit will receive a brand new, custom-designed website! HubRunner will charge them NOTHING to create and establish their new website.
Why it’s such a big deal: Normally, custom-designed websites cost between $2,000-3,000 (minimum). A great new website will help the winning Austin nonprofit boost donations and volunteers, ensuring they reach their goals faster and easier than ever.
What you get: Just for submitting a nomination or voting on the winner, participants are eligible to receive 50-percent off the first month’s fee to get started on their own HubRunner small business, entrepreneurial or nonprofit website.
How to nominate: Visit the HubRunner Facebook page beginning today, and submit a nonprofit simply by including its name in a comment below the contest details post! ** Please only one nomination per person. **
The nomination portion of the contest will end Tuesday, September 17, at 11:59 p.m. CST. The final “vote-off” will take place on HubRunner’s Facebook page September 18-30, with the winner announced on October 1. After the “seven days or your money back” guarantee period, HubRunner will launch the winning website the following week. Then, we’ll share the new Austin nonprofit website on our blog, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
Official deadlines and nomination rules can be found on the HubRunner Facebook page.
