Lessons we’ve learned in the past 12 months
HubRunner has grown a lot in the last 12 months. Here are five lessons we’ve learned in the process:
1. Stay true to what you believe.
Your brand is not your logo — it’s what you stand for, it’s what you believe in.
2. Scale only what works well.
Test lots of little marketing campaigns, and be diligent about measuring them.
3. Ask questions: learn more, faster.
You’ve got to speak with people if you want to improve as quickly as possible. So, answer the phones and ask a lot of questions.
4. Assign goals, not tasks.
Don’t just delegate; trust your co-workers to deliver on big picture objectives.
5. Keep the faith.
Give things a chance to work out; don’t make judgments too early.
