Central Texas nonprofit orchestra launches new website

AUSTIN – The Central Texas Medical Orchestra, a nonprofit orchestra, has launched a new website, where area musicians in the medical field can central-texas-medical-orchefind out how they can contribute to community health organizations with their instruments. The nonprofit orchestra was launched to provide medical professionals the opportunity to play music they love, develop camaraderie with like-minded colleagues and raise funds in support of medical nonprofits in the Austin community.

“The Central Texas Medical Orchestra combines my love of classical music, nonprofit management, and medicine and health,” says Founder and Executive Director Walter Laich. “With our new website, other like-minded musically inclined physicians can join together to help medical nonprofits here in Austin while pursuing one of their passions. It’s a unique way to give back to organizations that do so much for our health and for the community.”

The Central Texas Medical Orchestra has four full-orchestra performances from September to June, as well as small ensemble performances during the year in medical facilities throughout Central Texas.
